i don't think it's a good idea because people who try for babies may never get one while a babies life is being destroyed elsewhere.

Don't hate me for saying this, but I do support it.
Our society has over-populated itself to the point of hazard. We're not only destroying the evironment, but we're stripping homes away from thousands of animals by cutting down entire forests to create more housing for our ever growing population. No country's economy is looking great right now, and poverty is growing with every month. Yet we bring more children into this world to suffer through it. And babies aren't cheap, so it's driving families and single parents into worse positions, and bringing our economy down farther with them.
And you can't use the excuse that the children who are aborted could be put up for adoption and taken care of by a family who could give them a better life. Because there are millions of children in adoption agencies who are there until the day they turn 18. Where are their saviours?
I can't say I would ever get one, because I've never put myself in that position before. But if someone can't take care of a child, then it's their responsibility to not bring it into this world.
